Day 1 Arrival to Lithuania. Our driver will meet you at the airport and take you to Lithuanian Venice - Minge village. Accommodation in a homestead. Here you will have a dinner and time to relax at Lithuanian sauna. Overnight.

 

Day 2  And here the fishing starts! Morning  fishing in Nemunas delta & Curonian Lagoon (duration  6 h).

Departure around 7 AM, by speedboat or smaller fishing boat. You will be provided all the equipment: fishing rods & bait. Advice needed? English speaking captain will reveal the secrets how to trick Lithuanian fishes.

Picnic in the boat with smoked fish, Lithuanian bread, vegetables and other snacks will be organized.

The best time for fishing summer/ autumn. Fishes:  perch, goldfish, carp, bream, roach, pike, tench, bullhead, zander, catfish, chub.

Return to the homestead. Lunch. Free time.

 

Optional:

 

Trip to Nida by speedboat. Nida (Curonia Split National park) – the pearl of Lithuania, UNESCO listed site. Here you will see majestic seashore sand dunes, unique wooden architecture, neo-gothic church and old ethnographic cemetery. Relax and have a drink in one of many caffes/ restaurants.

 

Vente’s Horn visit. Private transfer by car to Vente Horn (Cape). It is one of the most important points for birds concentration in Northern Europe. Sometimes it is flown over by 300 000 birds a day. Around 60 000 -80 000 birds are being ringed a year. Here you can see the biggest bird catchers in Europe. If there are no clouds, you can see the shores of Curonian Spit.

 

Fishing in nearby Kintai pods, where you can fish for certain fee. The fish cought can be prepared & cooked at the spot by local cook.

 

Entertainment in Minge village: bike, water-bike, boat rental, extreme water skiing and other activities.

 

Day 3 Cod fishing in the Baltic Sea. Morning transfer from Minge to Klaipeda, where the equipped speedboat and English speaking captain will take you to the waters of the Baltic sea (duration 8 h.)

You will be provided all the equipment (sea fishing rods with pilkers).

To make your stomach full – picnic will be organized.

Return to Klaipeda. Lunch in a restaurant nearby the pier.

Car transfer from Klaipeda to Minge for overnight.

 

Day 4  Breakfast. Private transfer to the airport. Departure.
